Speedo cable removal from LET

Hi guys, I think the speedo cable has snapped, because my speedo is'nt working, its coming up for MOT time:( I have a Nova LET with a F20 box in it, its running Nova GTE clocks, I have taken the 10mm bolt out of the box end were the cable goes into, but its not moving, I dont want to rag anything but do I just give it a TUG:d

Where would I be able to get a new one of these?:thumb:

you can get them from vauxhall some small parts suppliers or the scrappie

and yes some need a bit of 'love' to get them out had the same problem on a corsa try twisting it side to side then a bit of leverage may help just dont go to mad with it hammers etc as you dont want bits of plastic in the gearbox etc
