Anyone have a idear on the weight of a standard nova mk1 with a xe inside l?


Also a rough idear on what kind of mpg to expect at motorway cruising speeds?


(The engine is in good condition been fully rebuilt at some point arp bolts larger bores ect if that's of any help)

Not that sure on weight but they are really light on fuel when driven handy the last one I had was better on fuel than my gte 1.6

How many miles to a tank do you think then mate

I've an astra gsi red top at the mo and is doing easily 40 to 50 mpg on normal driving can't remember exactly what the nova was doing but was surprisingly light

38mpg mixed on my old one; motorway mileage was about 45.

About 850kg i'd think, mpg depends on lots of things, but 35'ish i'd say

The standard GSI/GTE are about that, with poverty spec 1.0 2 door saloons being around 100kilos lighter, with other specs inbetween those weights obviously.
