hi how do you set the gear lonkage up on nova haveing a problem going in to 5th thanks dan

is it converted? ie did you convert it to 5 speed, if you did then make sure the white lug is completely off.
If its a linkage problem. Position the gear stick to roughly the central position. Jack the car up, mark where the linkage bolts onto the selector rod, undo the 13mm nut on the selector rod, and then get back in the car and slide the gear stick a fraction to the right position, then do up the 13mm nut. Test it and adjust accordingly. Just dont move it over too much otherwise you will lose reverse. This is presuming thats the problem. If it isnt ignore this whole comment lol

also, if you have fitted a 5 speed box into a 4 speed car, you need the 5 speed shifter box on the top of the gearbox.
