hazard swich

i need to move my hazard swich on me mk2 dash,
where can i move it to an what swich can i use?
i know the mk2 swich is notorious for it's use in 'borrowing novas' so what else can be wired in it's place?
is it just a simple swap? or what has to be done
any help would be great

mod the wire cluster behind it so it can be started that way.

Get a mk3 cav switch, abnd take the top of it off/cut it to shape.

The bottom of the cav switch fits in and doesnt break-mod the top cover or make your own or something.

think i get you, there is a thing on mikes site about usin a diode in the back of the loom.
i need to move the switch away from the top of the dash.
just been havin a look an i'm now thinkin about rippin out the lighter an ashtray to make room for the hazard an boot pop switches
