Im thinking of converting my 1700 dti astra van to 5 stud i know that its easy to change the hubs and brakes but will the 5 stud hubs fit my drive shafts?

Should do,the 1800's (sri/Sxi) have the same boxes etc and the SRi is 5 stud and sxi 4

The 5 studs have rear discs aswell though so dont forget the compensators and extra brake gear for the back etc

I think Scotts one was a 'middle' one with 4 stud lol, mine was a very early one and that was 5.

Dont think there are any 5 stud drummed GM's in the UK/europe :(

im not aware of any 5 stud rear drums,even my 1.2.5 astra is 4 stud rear disc

The early 1.6 zafira has 5 stud rear drums.

some vectra's and early mk1 zafs are 5 stud drum.
You can have mine Craig, changing the axle soon :)
