boost controller help

iv just bought a hks evc 3 boost controller, has anybody had any experience with these because im having trouble setting it up, any help would be appreciated

setting it up really, its not doing what i want it to do, its not giving me the boost that i want.

have you got any pics of the pipe work?

Port #1 needs to be on a pressure source. Ports #2 and #3 depend on whether you have internal or external wastegate.

What boost are you getting, and what are you aiming for?

i think iv git it connected up wrong then, i dont know which port is which but iv got the middle one going to the outlet on the compresser, the one on the right is going to the actuator and the one on the left (small one) going to a t piece in the boost guage pipe.

Is it an internal wastegate? If so the middle one should be to pressure, and the right hand one (looking at the pic) should be actuator. If its external wastegate, things get a little more technical lol

Also, the pressure sensor (left side) should be independent, don't T it off anything else

yes its got a internal wastegate. yea thats how iv got it, the middle silver pipe goes to the pressure side of the turbo, and the one on the right (black pipe) goes to the actuator, the one on the left that goes to the inlet but iv only got one boost take off from the inlet manifold which goes to the fuel pump and iv t`d into that from my boost guage.
