Y17DT 2k rpm idle

Y17DT engine that idles at a just under 2000rpm now & again, sometimes from start up, sometimes just does it when at traffic lights :confused: unless you 1st gear + footbrake + ride the clutch a little then it drops down to 1100rpm so can release cutch an neutral it & it'll stay at 1100. Then will be fine until you pull off, then does it all over again lol

Any ideas anyone?

EGR valve on my combo was was the problem on mine, they have a stupid soilnoid thing on a pipe that sits on top...
