just bought some vectra v6 rear hubs/brakes which are 288mm. i want to run 308mm brakes up front for when i rebuild my car with a let. the astra turbo/zafira gsi front brakes are 308mm from standard. is the spacing of the callipers correct so they will bolt onto the nova hubs? cheers.

308mm brakes are 288mm calipers with an adapter iirc?

The 'proper' 308mm brakes on astras etc, are 288 calipers with an adapter as far as I understand, is what I'm saying :p Have a look on LMF as they sell a kit (for obscene amounts as it's brand new, but will give you an idea of how it's set up) failing that give them a ring.

Mr MK999 is correct the calipers for 308's are just 288's with a spacer as that's what VX did.

2.6 Vectra GSI's came with 308's as standard so might get lucky down a breakers?

Or having done a quick search a Saab 9-5 has said front calipers.

Cool cheers, so they will bolt straight on?

If your on about mk4 astra calipers the answer is no as the fixing bolt holes are wider apart in the hub, as stated you need the later Vectra gsi ones to run 308s
