3000 rpm start up

hi iwhen i start my nova gte it shots stright up to 3000rpm does any one know what it could be?? thanks dan

does it go down? air leek? throttle position maybe stuck or set to tight?

it stays and that even when i rev it it dont come down then i switched it off

it will be because the throttle is stuck open a little just need to let a few notches off where the throttle connects to the throttle body or see if somthings in way?

Can't remember so long since I've seen a standard one (!), does it have an idle air valve - they my be stuck open too for the throttle flutterby is shut.
