It's obviously a Corsa D, but we all know there just new nova's lol
But why has this got GTE decals/plates on it? the making GTE's and promoting them as lesser then VXR's?
Also whats with these Jamaica yellow one's i keep seeing too??

Its the exact old nova GTE badge aswell and not the astra GTE badge.
Very strange if they have brought a corsa GTE out lol

just had a look on the vaux website and they dont list a gte and are they vauxhall alloys just wondering if this is some sort of one off jobbies
and yeah they slapped it on the c's and d's not sure if they have changed the name though
Dealer special to shift stock i'd say! Waste of a GTE badge i think.........
Just looks like every other Corsa D Comfort+ with some posh wheel to me :S
Apparently a 1.2 and by looks of it no fog lights.....Just another limited edition corsa then. big fail for me!
Thats dog muck.

Was at a show the other day where there was a dealer trying to sell a "tarted" up VXR-stylleeee Corsa D 1.2.
They wanted £14600 for it!!!!! For some big wheels and a bloody body kit!
The guy, obviously because i'm young, targeted me, trying to sell it to me as a "cheaper alternative to a VXR". I then explained to him (because I was actually quite insulted by the price of a new 1.2 Corsa) that I'd spent 3 years building up no claims, and that if I was to bother spending nye on 15 grand on a Corsa, it would HAVE to be a VXR and there was no way I'd bother even looking at a 1.2. He soon buggered off.

Very odd choice of badges for a special edition.

There was an Astra GTE aswell iirc, there has been a thread on this before somewhere. It was a dealer special edition and the GTE stood for something like the dealer names initials

Well Rich your the guy who maybe could find this one out, the dealership is Bridge in Evesham, i don't understand why you would make a "special" by adding GTE decal Badges, seam's quite stupid..

Well from my past research i found that the old original GTE Stood for 'Grand Touring Executive'

The 'E' is for Einspritzanlage which is German for injection
The 'E' is for Einspritzanlage which is German for injection
Hence the first cars to wear the badge had 'GT/E' on them, mantas i believe:thumb:
What a true waste of a GTE badge, if its just something the dealers have decided to splash on them then im fairly sure the decals will just be reproduced ones, most probably from a local sticker shop, and wont be official vaux ones!

When will they go back to the boxy shapes as now there's no future classics from today's cars.

Ohh there will be plenty future classics, just not classics to how we perceive them currently kinda thing.
Focus RS500, VXR Nurby, Astra 888, Clio 182 Cup, C2 RS etc etc

Better stock up on the cavity wax, seems the kind of classics I'd own are only gonna get rarer and rustier lol
