Pic Slag MK3 eh?

No 1 and 2 being myself and Olly :)

Looks promising mate. And with my recent desision (after SlimJim gave me a talking to) to go for twin 40's this could be a good couple of 1.6's to challengs the XE's...lol.

OK maybe not but well bloody try :)

gotta get past me first lol :P , on a different note we need more peeps to venture to the pod so we can get some good league tables up with a variety of engines and slips/times

good job lol, the small block valver fields are looking piss poor for no.s. It seems everyone is either ashamed of their times or cant be arsed :( . If i dont get some times soon it might get knocked on the head, but if we had tables then people could see benchmarks to aim for and beat.

Well my 1600 16v will be added to the list asap (can add it now but time would be about 3 hours by means of pushing)

Phil - got your text yesterday mate, had no credit to reply though.
was gonna phone ya but figured it'd cost a fortune as i aint got your home phone only mobile number.

Keep us updated in a "big ades garage" style post matey - makes for interesting reading and we lost ades post by accident a while ago, so would be good to have a similar post for people to read to see the work that goes into creating something like that.

Phil - you planning on fixing the shell?

Was it rolled ?

Looks like someone went at it with a sledge hammer!

one of the pics looks like the doors buckled - if yer keeping the shell better make sure you get the kinks out the chassis.

But if it just for the parts/engine cool!

Keep us updated

And speaking of rebuilds...anyone know how Ians getting along with his?

Phil

why strip a good engine unless u gotta fit new bits?

Phil_G
07-07-03, 09:41 PM
Hi,

i am..

quite what the engine is getting is going to be dependant on what it needs - and ade - it wus set about with a hedge on a narrow lane round here about a month ago... Not repairing this shell - just taking the engine for mine

Why strip a "good" engine? Not being funny about this but ask Mike Oxford - that was a "good" bottom end he was sold. With the extra stress of more power going thru it i figure it to be a good idea to remove some of the possible "weak links"

you not remember Dicko??
she did rolling road and found her 100% standard gte engine was producing more bhp than it should be.
