Looks mint as always. Will go down as one of the best novas out there imo. However, i wish you would call it a nova :wtf:
Looks lovely Merris.......... Brett did a thorough job of everything he wanted to do in his aim of getting the look he was after. If it was mine I wouldnt change a thing just drive and enjoy. :)

I would have never thought those wheels would clear the arches from the look of them, I assume they must do though.
Have you considered putting twin40's on?
And are these rubber spring silencers?:
http://i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy103/alex_maris/DSCF0535.jpg
I reckon change the wheels to make it your own :) But looks great

polly spring seats, and bump stops to stop the spring compressing too much so the wheel wont hit the arch lips.
Scott
Looks good - wheels spoil it though. Not they are bad necessarily, but they dont suit the car imo...
Perfect opportunity to make it yours too (as already said)
Looks great merris
I did prefer it on the other wheels tho
I guess the banded steel thing is down to personal taste, IMO it looks a little strange ATM lol
am i jealous...yes...yes i am :)

Original numberplates is the only downfall thats needed, other than that its perfect ;)
i dont want to put twin 40s on it, as everyone dose the samelol, the wheels are staying on as i think they are a bit diffrent to what everyone else uses, the only thing ill be doing to make it my own will be ............
drive it when i canlol
still on the hunt for mint gear gator to complete it, and a head unit:cool:
When are you breaking it?
When are you axeing it?
.
looks lovely, i will happily drive you around in it ;)
we could do kfc drive through and everything :)
I love the car.. but one thing that I wouldn't class as a safe mod is it appears the rear stub axles are spaced with washers. I would ditch them and enjoy :)
needs rebadging as a vauxhall nova imo not into the whole opel'ing up a vauxhall scene!
Great buy dude, really nice car. Had a good look at it at Pv while Brett was cleaning it.

They are normally used on cars who tow caravans to stop the rear of the car dropping to much causing arch rub, means you can stop the car sitting too low, in this case preventing the wheels from hitting the arches. i use them on mine and they seem to act nicely to stop the car bottoming out over jumps which is normally does without them, helps on gravel rallies and the yorkshire roads too :)
1600 with a weber 32/34 iirc
Any engine specs merris?
if im honest ive no idea, im sure it has a 1.6 bottom end and 1.6 head,f15 gearbox? with a bigger carb (not fitted but brand new) running 1.3 dizzy and the rest, maybe someone else knows?? i think what edd has put is the right carb

1.6 16v bottom end, 1.6 cav carb head, 32/34 webber carb, 1300 dizzy made 112bhp whilst being set up on the rollers. (bhp figure is as far as I can remember)
