hi guys, my n/s outer c.v is knackered on my xe nova with f20 box. I also have an f16 sitting in my workshop with shafts so have been thinking about fitting this or maybe just getting a new c.v for the setup i have. F16 shafts have 32 spine outers atm ( if i counted right lol) . Can anyone please explain exactly what i would need for the f16 box and shafts to fit and also what outer i need for either of them to fit in my standard hubs? I like the idea of the f16 as im more interested in acceleration than top end but dont want too much hassle to fit it. Whatever route i need it sorted quick as i can see a breakdown on the horizon  lol. cheers guys

unless their 'motorsport' shafts im sure you use standard nova outer's
you need cav inner cv's for both of the gearbox's and standard nova outers, that is if you are using standard hubs

yeah using standard hubs, so if i just slap some nova outers on the f16 shafts everything will fit fine yeah?
What do you mean F16 shafts? Are they Nova shafts?
no you use nova gte/gsi/td shafts with cav inners and nova outers

no they are the shafts that came with the box out of a cav.

so i wll need td/gsi outers then? would that also be what im running with the f20 in atm? Sorry if im being thick i just havent dealt with this part of the conversion yet lol.
yes it will. as there on nova hubs? so i presume unless you have uprated the front hubs, they will be nova ones. ie
f16box-cav inner cv's-Shaft-nova outer cv's...
if that makes any sence lol....:thumb:

yeah ive got it now, just wasnt sure what outers i needed, just normal nova ones or the td/gte shafts lol. How long before i end up needing to put the f20 back in then? or are the f16's not too bad strength wise unless you abuse them?
