let oil pressure gauge fitting?

i got a few safety gauges now but the one i need help with is the oil pressure! the instructions are wank!

it is a gauge(duh) with a seperate little catch tank alot like a metal type fuel filter! does any one know how to plumb it in?

Off the top of my head (and hydro experiance :wink: ) i'd say youd have to tee of something, is there an oil pipe which pressurised oil passes thru? if so id guess you should use that! pipework doesnt decrease fluid pressure by much, in fact its next 2 nothing! just going off what id do in work, as i carry out pressure tests on hydraulic systems! and an engine oil pump is exactly the same as your hydraulic oil pump!
