1300 engines

yo, thinking about putting a 1300 engine in my 1.2 as i dont want a c20let/xe as everyone does that. my mate has a 1300 mk2 astra 5 door thats blown the lifters, i have another mate with new lifters to suit, so my question is are the 1300 astra engines the same as a 1300 nova sr? Cheers, jake.

yea i believe they are the only thing that differs i think is the carb.
