cut a long one short..
iv got a corsa sport that had a front end bump, repaired to a reasonable standard but not amazing..
a/c removed, cross member welded beyond belief lol..... you get the point

the panel the bonnet shuts onto (slam planel?) has always been a little bit bent in.
after giving her a good wash today i found myself in the engine bay wiping things down as you do...
thought to myself, i could bend that back out and make it easier to open/shut the bonnet, it'd always been a bit of a twunt to do
after a good bash that didnt seem to do much i thought yeah, spot on, and shut it, now i cant open it, broke the (in car) latch...
fixed it....
had someone push down on the bonnet/pull up while i pull the leaver i doctored....

slightly yeah :thumb:, just been told the screw driver in the grill thing but, their problem sounds a bit different to mine...
the bit shaped slightly like a small bellend with the spring on has slammed down and got caught well and truly. like hooked underneath if you get me?

rite got it open by smashing the grill

now, iv bent the bellend shape bit a little to the drivers side so it meets up with the hole but the spring doesnt seem to sit rite?
can someone confirm this is the problem?
