is the spi tank the same as my 14 sri tank as mine is not great and i have the offer of a spi to replace

Yep the spi tank runs an internal pump. The sri is external :)

it would fit, but you'd have to convert the fuel lines, and fit an mpi pump into the spi tank. I'd try and find a tank the same as you have first. :)

went to see a tank tonight brand new but the cage and ball. fuel return thing was not there can you buy these seperate as that all i need really.

whatever tank you get make sure it has the swirl pot, some of the carb tanks did'nt have them (i think :)) some of the fuel level units can be a pain to find especially the bolt on one.

for future reference, does anyone know if any of the corsa tanks fit?

just to add before some wise **** comes along i will say it Corsa A :d

No Corsa tank is different. As said, you can fit an SPi (single point inj) tank if you switch the fuel pump to an in-tank type from an MPi Astra/cavalier or similar.

The ball/claw type thing in the filler neck can be removed & inserted easily enough.

It works out much tidier to using a spi tank have less piping under the car and the pump inside to better option in my opinion

easy tried to remove one from a carb tank and it just shatterd .do they come with new tanks or can you buy the seperate
