i may be wrong, but i think you use an f23 box??

thats whats on oe but was just wondering if any others can be used

id stick with whats in it if its what it has, looks like most of the newer stuff uses f23 , from diesel vectra, to gsi zafiras, anf they are 10 a penny, between £50 and £200 max!

i thought the small block 1.8's use an f17..

As said, its a small block.
F23 wont fit but im not sure what box exactly that model uses.

Yes yours is a F17 as said.
