Does anyone know if I need to run a fuel regulator or will it be ok without ?

Yes you will need a regulator where exactly are you talking about is it on the fuel rail or on the fuel pump

and what pressure does the rail need ?

It dosent go-between the pump and rail it goes after the rail on the return that way it can keep pressure up in the rail there's a little damper down by the pump undernieth but that one isn't needed will run fine with out but will need the one on the rail and should have about 4 to 5 bar roughly on any mpi system

it regulates to 40psi on a GTE with Botch LE

If your on about the one that sits in the cradle with the pump-then no it doesnt need it,it will run fine.

Thats a fuel filter. Don't fit? expect trouble.
