Handbrake cable question

Having trouble sorting the handbrake cabled out :roll:

On a mk2, or not the early nova set up, which side of the car does the cable that comes from the lever go to ?

As on the tank there is two holes for the hanger to go into

I'm confused lol

I also got confused over this. If you search for handbrake cables on buypartsby.com it has some diagrams. As far as I'm aware as long as you have the right pair of cables and yoke it'll work either way. On my mk2 the yoke is on the left/long cable from the lever goes to the left, if that helps at all?

Mine runs to the right. All works ok.

thanks for the replies guys, after getting the tape measure out it appears i have the wrong length cable :(
