View Full Version : gearbox bolts
anyone know what size the bolts are the attatch the box to the engine? got an engine stand coming this week so need to get some longer bolts from work tonight
its a 20seh with an f16
the engine stand usually has some 1/2" plates with holes in for mounting. the bellhousing lugs are at least 1/2", so the original bolts should do

You need the longer bellhousing bolts as the short ones dont fit

There's this search engine called google lol M12, 1.75mm thread pitch, 19mm head
Ive never bothered to measure them lol
Long gearbox bellhousing sized bolts is the length.Take them to a fasteners shop and show em the short ones and ask for longer ones than them, about twice as long
Well I just cut up some threaded bar at work tonight so I'll use that and cut them to size
