in the cav yes, not always neccesary in a nova imho.

Yes they should have but unless its spending life on the track its not needed mate ive run my XE for over a year without one with no problems just make sure you take the takeoff plate off and replace the oil filter thread with the shorter one from a c20ne.

Do you mean the bit the oil filter screws into? If so it must already be done as there's no cooler on atm

It's not really needed unless your going on a track all the time i had one on mine but took it off and been fine and been using it over a year

Yea thats the one swedge.

Not needed as said just run it with out the sandwich plate and put the little thread from a small block in the quality of oil is much better mow than when these engines came out so unless your racing across a desert it's goon to be fine
