correct me if im wrong it comes from the trhottle body or inlet to the box,and the other side is just left blanked off but i left mine plugged in,not 100% sure on its purpose but sure its the vent vlve for the fuel system
ye its for the tank vent valve just make sure its pluged in and you shouldnt have a problem
What's the engine out of is it a vacuum valve for operating the interior heater flap

just to say im not 100% if the xe run with these just my guess with that lovely drawn pic :D
Is that little valve not just a vacuum valve it's connected to my interior heater flap in my astra gsi it's operated by vacuum in these and that's connected to it I'll try get a pic tomorrow
Fuel tank vent valve leave it disconnected but plug it in .
Thanks all for help blugged it in and blanked it off is that right? should it make much difrence if it was left unblanked?

see ive never been to sure really of the purpose i just left it plugged in, runs the same with it unlugged so dont worry about it to much, if your worried, bit of insulation tape and stick it over it or whatever

Aye, fuel tank vent valve. Not got one on mine, cable connection is tucked out the way. Runs fine.
XE's dont have a map sensor.
Its the fuel tank vent valve as said.
Make sure you block the vacuum pipes if you do remove it.
where are the pipes to like as mine just has them black nossils no pipes going to or from it and a lead going in atm ive got it pluged in unblanked....
