Am in need of some Nova advice, hopefully you can help! Total Vauxhall Live killed the diff (and maybe gearbox) in my Redtop Nova. I'm going to spend a bit of money getting it sorted out and getting it going better than it was.

First of all, gearbox. Or more specifically diff. Are there any decent alternatives to the very expensive limited slip diffs for F20 gearboxes? Or are diffs in other gearboxes any stronger? Is this a common issue? The engine is running around the 170bhp mark, so not loads more than stock. Tyres are Toyo R888 - which I think may have finished the diff off.

Secondly, suspension. Again I am on a budget, and this is a budget track car but the G-Max suspension on the car is non-adjustable and too soft. What's the best thing to go for? Coilovers or standard setup with uprated components (that aren't G-Max!) Any recommendations about manufacturer?

Sorry for the 1000 questions but any advice would be really appreciated.

Cheers
Dan :)

The gaz coilover kit is good value for money mate and you get a club discount too.

Keep an eye out for some second hand Bilsteins or as above try the Gaz Club offer.

What diff were you using?

AVO coil over's are good £500 for a set of fast road spec or £900 for comp spec. What is a very Expensive diff, how much did you pay and what are you using ?.
