Fair point about the publicity, however if more people intervened with the low level annoying crime or ASB then this hovel we all live in would be a nicer place.

The outfit is probably quite disarming when he confronts some of the scrotes, he'd get beaten up or stabbed for interfering otherwise I would imagine.
