gte gsi and derv variants all had them as standard iirc. They cropped up ramdomly across all models though, my 1.2 saloon had one on from new lol

The corsa track is wider than the nova, so even if you can find a corsa one it wont fit. :)

Well, you could make it fit, but theres really no point lol

Cavalier rear ARB is also a good adittion.

Can't fit cav/whiteline to a Nova, too wide

Surely it can't be too hard to just get a Nova one, always so many of the cars being stripped for parts.

Yours is a Astra GTE one iirc and welding nuts on the beam was required so its not 'bolt on'

mine was from an astra gsi, which is exactly the same as found on some cavs and some saab 900's

and i did indeed weld on plates with captive nuts to my beam, but the arb does 'bolt on' lol!

There is a way of fitting a corsa c whiteline to a nova beam with some small mods, I was going to try this but never had the chance.

ARB's are overrated - just get your spring rates right.

Was trying to get something sorted out with Whiteline for nova rear arb's but change of job etc. put me out the picture for that.
So decided to make my own from a cavalier V6 i broke. The axle i used already had Flat bar welded into the centre of it which provided a perfect base to clamp the bar to using the cavy clamps & bushes. Cut/grind a slit in the bottom of the axle for the clamps to hook into and then drilled through the flat bar and top of the axle which was used to bolt the clamp into place. I then drilled each end of the bar and bolted through into the axle using some bushes.
Yet to be tested but should do the job :thumb:

Kev, what diameter is that arb and any pics of beam without the arb so I can see the welded plates?

Bar is 22mm. Stupidly never took pics from start to finish but heres what ive got so you can get the jist of it. The flat bar is approx 5mm maybe thicker and is welded in about 10mm from the edge of the axle.

I see how you've done it

I think easier solution might be using exhaust clamps and clamping the arb like the whiteline, that way you can use a standard nova one too
