i have them on my mk1, they fit the same as mk2, there is a long spacer that connects to the bonnet hinge.

It is just a variation of the theme of nut, bolt & washers, there will be a bit of adjusting to be done so that you get the desired fit, but what are you trying to achieve? Better cooling or a cooler looking bonnet?

By bonnet raisers they mean lifters Pete :) the things which raise the back of the bonnet up.

Is this for looks or cooling purposes? If for looks then I always think it looks a little naff.

Jack has them on his V6 iirc, send him a pm ;)

Mine had been done by previous owner, I quite like the look, I dont know how he's done it but I'll find out if needs be,

Only pic of car to hand at the moment.

Pete I think yours is just raised because they've fitted the bonnet struts too far up the wings.

Alrite southie talking about havin a dig lol I fitted the struts ;)

And it was raised before I fitted them, I just got hold of the struts cheap so did them for looks

They're nothing but longer bolts (and collars if you're feeling posh).

Looks crap. Made my engine run hotter too, so isn't even practical.

Only did it on mine to clear the engine, otherwise I'd have the bonnet close properly; and even then we've set it as low as is physically possible. I'd also be worried about the bolts shearing in an accident and sending the bonnet between your head and shoulders.

I'm confused, as at first i read it as "bonnet stays/lifts" then thought they meant spaced up bonnets for cooling/looks? but now think it's all about bonnet lifters?

Im confused with the pic posted, what's raised? lol

Anyway, just get some longer bolts and some washers with a bit of trial and error.
