central locking

is it possible to just rip the central locking out of any vauxhall laying around in a scrappy, eg a cavalier. id need the motors in the doors, and im guessing id need some doodat to control them?!?

most units should be ok, i got mine out of a F*rd granada scorpio, by using just the front ones no control box is needed, there are four wires, +ve -ve and 2 sensor wires, by connecting the sensor wires from one unit to the other when one goes up, they both go up. easy for fitting remote central locking as well but u do need someway of connecting the wires between the doors and the A pillar if u havent allready

can someone help me with my central locking?

at the minute whenever i set it the drivers side clicks about 7 times and then stops.

Anyone have the same problem or know what i might need to do to prevent it?
