I have just insured my nova with footman James, however they say they do not cover polycarb windows! I find this a bit odd considering the other mods I have declared and they didn't bat an eyelid at. Has anyone else got insurance with them on their nova or other car and got polycarb windows fitted and declared on their insurance??

Its to do with the fact they are not really intended for road use, a lot of people have problems with insuring cars with rollcages etc.

My brother when he had stevie p's old loon caged (orient blue) found that the only people that would touch him on insurance, not even flux was elephant?

Its to do with the fact that polycarbs are about as secure as a celebs voicemail...

Yeah a little easy to push through or slide open depending on the door sliders... Sky and HIC have both been fine with me having plastics in the past though

and then if your involved in a accident and car gets recovered for assement your insurance is void and you will be prosecuted for no insurance and liable for all damages to each party.

Competition car insurance and flux both cover them!
