The saloon is just out of MoT. I havent yet fixed all the problems since the fire, but will these fail its MoT?
There is no intermittent wipe which also means the wipers dont park themselves. I think the only way to wash the screen is to set the wipers to constant wipe, then pull the stalk forward to wash the screen.
If I fill the fuel tank up passed a 1/3rd it leaks from the return pipe. I was going to take it to the MoT station running on fumes to solve this problem!!
I need more time to fit a stalk to sort the wiper problem. But will I be able to get through an MoT right now?
EDIT: oh, and the indicators dont self cancel, but Im sure they wont need to check that...
wipers are a fail if not parking and staying in drivers view , but if u have a kind tester and explain about how too make them park he may pass it , but fuel leak defoe a fail in my book so take it in on fumes lol
Whys it leak from the return pipe? Has it rusted where it meets the tank or something?
TBH i wouldn't want to be driving anything thats leaking fuel....

Bum.
Will have to get round to my Mums to raid my shed o' nova to find another wiper stalk.
I have no idea why the tank leaks, it seems to have a mystery pressurising problem. I think the ball is getting stuck in the cage at the entry to the fuel tank and/or theres a blocked (breather?) pipe. Its a new-ish (pattern part) tank and Ive tried a new GM hose and all different manner of hose clips but to no avail.
I just want to be able to drive the dam thing again!!
Ive driven novas as a daily for 7 and a half years (3 of them over that time) but have probably lost a whole year with them being off the road waiting for my spannering time!
