its like a orange light with a black curl going through it.

Also it feels under powered like its not getting the right fuel...

in second its sluggish untill about 3 and half thousand or more. then it gets a rush of power

Is your management light connected to that sounds like afm or possibly a air leak on the inlet system

Is it not the EML?

Could be the XE engine management light. Not sure what the black curl light is but it's quite possible the EML was wired into this circuit.

Flash the codes from the ECU using Topbuzz/searches on here as a guide.

It sounds like a diesel dash part has been used. I thought the black curly wurly thing was the glowplug... I could be wrong.

Yeah, the curly orange dash light is the diesel pre-heat warning lamp IIRC

Oh so this would make sence because it ws a x diesel so could this be just because it isnt using the glow plug thing no more?

no id more than say if anybody had the right mind when they built it they will have converted the redundant glow light into a eml

it is the glow plug light, and i'd be pretty certain that whoever converted it used that as the MIL lamp, as obviously the diesel doesn't have one. would also explain the poor running

how do i flash the codes? as i have looked on the loom and see no plug for the said way how to do it.
