Hi

In the centre of the rear beam on a Nova is a bush that surrounds the roll bar, sort of triangular shaped with a hole in the centre for the bar to pass through.

Anybody know if this is a major component for the rollbar to operate as i have just noticed i dont have one!

Anybody know where i can get one from (other than Vauxhall)?
Tried the likes of Rally Design, Tweeks & PowerFlex websites & its not listed

Cheers

Martin

I may have one, if not there is one in this kit....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Nova-Front-Rear-Bushes-Polyurethane-/370477281937?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item56422ab291

They may sell it seperate?

Not sure.

That kit shows one & Nova competion build manual shows one so only the one i have just ordered.

Dunno if it makes a difference being missing, suppose there is a reason Vauxhall put it there in the first place!!

Don't think it makes much difference think it's just there for support and doesn't really do any thing

I wouldn't get a Flo-Flex one if I were you, the fitment is shocking to say the least

I have gone for a new GM one, there quite solid anyway

I would imagine it just supports the bar & stops any 'twanging' or vibration going on.

LOL @ the drill the hole larger on a poly one, try drilling Polyurethane!!
