Hello
I'm fitting 40's to my nova on Friday, I just got a few questions on fuel pump fitting
Is it literally remove the existing pump and fit my external where ever I choose and run the fuel line straight to that from the tank

The standard pump works fine, although a regulator is advised. What pump have you bought?
Twin 40s don't need a fuel return, so you can either:
1. block the fuel return line at the tank
2. fit a return line but with an inline restrictor so all the fuel doesn't get pumped straight back to the tank

Well I got a facet pump with a project a while a go so I'm going to use that
I've got a malpassi filter king regulator
So if I just block off the return line if I use the existing pump and fit my reg that should work?

i seem to remember that the fuel pump is fitted close to the tank because it works better 'pushing' the fuel rather than 'pulling' if you had it in the engine bay for instance
clear as mud eh? :)
