well here is my mk1 nova saloon 1.2 ,was owned by 101 year old lady who had owned it from new , its done 34000 miles since 1989 , hope you enjoy

here it is when i bought it , bit tired looking i must admit

i then had a play with the exhaust :

lowered it down 100mm all round and put 13x7 and 13x9 banded steels on it

i had to hammer the arches out to cover the wheels a bi better , skimmed with filler and awaiting paint :

it looks very nice, IMHO the rear steelies are a touch ott but the fronts look spot on :thumb:

Agreed the rears are a bit wide but looks pretty cool :) Fronts getting flared a bit too?

thanks ,the rears are pretty wide but i like them , im unsure about flaring the front because i want it done well and i dont have the tool you bolt on to roll it really nice

Agreed on the number plate tho, looks a little silly there IMO

....but them wheels ain't never going to pass a MOT Flol

Can you not fit some arch extensions...like octagonalpaul fitted to his?! Think they were Golf or Mini arches

paul has jdm arches on his , i like them alot but there like £75 and im poor lol il do something about it , i had the police behind me today and they didnt pull me so i guess it cant be that bad

I spot a potential MoT failure in this pic. :eek:
Rear tyre rotation direction is incorrect. ;)

Other than that, great find! Going to be a nice little loon, this. Just make sure to get the rust on the arches properly sorted. :thumb:

Chris, my arches were £45 ;) Rangerbob on retrorides sells them. Looking good but have to agree that the rear wheel is a tad too wide, at least with standard arches and the tire size you have atm.
