My Handbrake has been poor recently, parking up if I applied the foot brake and pulled the handbrake hard it would stop the car but pulling it up a few clicks in traffic etc would cause it to roll back. I could also pull it up whilst driving and the car wouldn't hunker down at all, just kept going.

I've went out tonight and adjusted it, now it will stop on a hill with 2 clicks and stay there, yet pulling it up in my yard "handbrake turning" to see if the wheels will lock up now, they still won't... is this worn shoes?

Probably - its not a hard job to whip the drum off and take a quick look :thumb:

It could be your shoes but also your hardbrake cables are stretched a little, is it still two clicks after a attempted handbrake turn?

Yeah the cables are fine, stopping after the attempted handbrake turn with the handbrake still locked on 2 clicks. Pulled away like it and the wheels then dragged across the gravel locked.

like jack says, just whip the drums off and check visually.
