Which radiator do i use ?

Just put a c16xe in my mk1 saloon and dont really know what radiator to use, anyone had any experience with this or can point me in the right direction, any help greatly appreciated :)

A gte/gsi one will do just fine

You want one with a connection on either side (i.e. not the one that has both connections on the same side).

GTE/GSi will be Ok but people usually price them at a premium!

Cheers i was going to use the one off the corsa but it was shot, il order a gte/gsi one in the morning cheers :)

I tried up a Corsa rad when I done my c16xe convesion and nothing lines up, I bought a brand new 1.2 rad from a friend for pennies and used that, there's only a couple of rows difference in size so I really didn't see the point in a gte/gsi rad. My temperature gauge never ever goes above half and I really give it a hard time when it's out.

Don't use a corsa one, or a 1.2 nova one imho. Some 1.3's had a full length rad the same as the gsi's, use that one.

My C16XE is on a 24 year old 1.2 rad and is fine

I have a Corsa Sri fitted to mine and it's slightly taller than a nova one and the mounts at the bottom don't fit, with a bit of bodgery it can fit though, I only used it as mine was originally a 1.0 and that radiator wouldn't fit the c14se
