i think he's asking (dont know if it has one on the sr) but some of the older injection engines had an octane plug labelled 85

Yeah its got carb. It was just wandering if it was normal petrol or it was for older petrol and had to add an additive into normal unleaded fuel?

round here the black nozzle is the dreaded diesel (yuck) 95 ron should be ok (green nozzle)

really old cars way before nova's ran on leaded petrol for which you can buy an additive but thats really old school stuff :)

i used to get into rows at petrol stations when filling my first nova cos the attendants wouldn't believe me that they would run on unleaded... before that i was using 2 or 3 star petrol.... i forgot to do the timing on my red one, and it made it pink........

2 stroke is still current but used for chainsaws, lawnmowers and the like :) in the oldern days ;) motorbikes ran on it, i'm not old enough to remember cars on it.
