yes - if the older ones (not ATE) its just the sliders that stick - usually the dust shields have come off or perished and when you go to press the brake pedal they wont move or they move and wont return

If you dont know what your doing take to a brake specialist or uprate to better calipers

I dont know about ATE ones but from what Ive heard they dont seize as often (the old ones have 2 long pins with spring clips that hold the pads in - new ones uise a metal clasp thing - I think...)

i had both pistons seize on the fron of mine when i had the "old" delco type calipers on.

i put ATE (1.2i) calipers on and ive not had a problem in 2 years (nor a pad change either)

for the "old" type its about ?9.99 for a slider repair kit, which is a pair of sliders, dust caps, seals for sliders and grease

you Will need a 10 mm hex bit to do any majoro work on the calipers :D

get down autobreak on the hythe quay, they've got plenty of cavaliers with the valver spec ATE calipers, and larger vented discs. prob pick up the discs and pads for ?30-?40, and they'll be much more effective than any nova brakes, and they fit straight on.
