When fitting +1mm oversized valve do the valve seats need cut or can they be lapped in?

Seats do need cutting, a fair bit too, but before you do that check the guides are ok, if there's any doubt, replace them first.

any reason for going +1mm btw? just not really needed for a let even running 500+bhp and stock valves on a xe will manage250-260bhp tbh, could spend money elsewhere thats all
