please help again! re- my alpine sub!

right iv just bought a 1000w pioneer amp of ebay! well iv won the auction!
will it power my alpine sub which is in the other thread? sorry to be anoying!
just dont have a clue as its my first car! if this wont power my sub what wattage amp should i go for?

1000W is not enough information - it should power the amp, but I would recommend going to an ICE dealer before starting to fit amps if you are not sure about installing ICE.
