hey all, kind of as above. does the Mpi pumps on gte's/gsi's etc have to be gravity fed to the pump in its original position in the cradle? if so, has any body got pics of the standard routing of the hose out of the tank to the pump?

any help is appreciated.

BUT THE FEED PIPE JUST COMES OUT THE BACK OF THE TANK, ROUND THE SPARE WHEEL WELL, & INTO THE PUMP.

oh ok, as ive renewed my fuel hose i wasnt sure if how ive routed the hose is contributed to my LET not starting. im yet to fit my new fuel pump but want to cover all the bases.

my hose comes out the tank, across past the wheel well where its secured by a 'p' clip and then to the pump.

you cant go wrong really; outlet on tank is higher than position of pump; youre ok.
Only thing i can suggest is that theres no blockage/etc within the tank (maybe the old gauze filter in the tank or something..)??
