Help needed on nova engine!

Right have a misfire/not running a mate came and checked my work.. Turns out no4 inlet pushrod is sitting too low. So we pulled head off. And the cup? That the pushrod sits in in the block is missing! So I have probably lost it. I need to know what this is called or what? Where can I get one from? Anyone have one on a old engine? Please help! Thank you!

1.0litre????? pushrod engine or 1.2/1.3 OHC - no pushrods in them

Sorry 1.0 ohv. It's where the pushrod sits in the block.. It's meant to sit in a cup type thing?

Looks like it's still there but stuck down! They are called lifters I've found out! Anyone had this before? Should I search for another block? Thanks

Is it in the sump? must be somewhere

If it is stuck down, then the cam must be damaged
