The tie bar is no where near the sump, you can clearly see in your own pic...

True, but that will move it up and down, not in and out (if that makes sense) and you can see there is clearance...

Your engine/box are not straight! You need to fit the gearbox spacer as suggested in your other thread, that will stop the tie bar hitting the sump.

THE MARK ON THE SUMP COULD BE WHERE THE BOLTS HAVE COME OUT OF YOUR ENGINE MOUNT !! THE ENGINE HAD TO GO ONE WAY AND THATS DOWN !!!!!(WHEN YOUR INNER CVS KEPT POPPING !!!!!!!!!!!) THIS IS OBVIOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
SHOULD YOU BE MESSING WITH CARS IF YOU CANT WORK THAT OUT ??????? lol (caps off)

You need that gearbox spacer on the back but you can either use the m tech 2 bolt fixing 1 or the 3 bolt one i use the 3 bolt 1 but up to you. If it still hits after that try tie bie lowering blocks as don't look like your using them on yours?

And another bit of advice buddy is take you time and if you don't know what your doing read some of the project threads or look at some of these guys pictures and how they do it that way you will pick up what needs to be done and will help you alot as these guys on here know what there doing :)

This here is tie bie lowering blocks which most people use on theres :)

And thats how you do the gearbox spacer :)

As you can see from the above picture thats how the spacer is mounted and the 2 bolt m tech ones go in the same place but use 2 bolts rather than 3
Hope that helps you
