Hi John hows it going?
The Sony GT550UI is £129.99 at Halfords and thats 'made for Ipod' so you can control the ipod using the buttons on the stereo rather than messing about with the ipod itself. Also theres the Alpine CDE-120RR which is £99.99 and thats a quality unit with USB and aux-in but doesn't control your Ipod.
Have you seen the Sony BT3900U though which has a built in hands free for your mobile as well as the 'made for Ipod' features of the GT550UI??

JVC KD-DB42 - 2 x Aux in (one front, one rear), USB, DAB/FM/AM 50W x 4, etc... etc... I have one in my van. Dogs danglies.
If you MUST have iPod integration, the KD-DB52 has an iPod port, and a remote control (which allows you to control your stereo from the back seat....errr..... why when you're sitting in the driving seat with it only a fingertip away.....)
They usually sell from around the £149 for the 42, between a tenner and a score more for the 52.
With the USB stick rammed up it, who needs an iPod in the car?
And with the benefit of DAB, you can get a lot of really useful radio channels........
lol this is an old thread, but quite usefull still as i've yet to purchase! Doesn't have to have i-pod integration if i'm honest as i can just plug the i-phone to usb lead in. :)
