View Full Version : gte cam shaft
have just got one of these for my 1200cc antibes, is it a straight forward job to chang and will there be much or any gain?,m i only have the cam shaft so will need to put in my casing? will this fit does anybody know?
thanks for help
you have a delco dizzy on that one don't you?? it will be a slotted drive, and the gte camshaft will have a peg in a hole dizzy drive. you might need some interesting engineering to make that one fit.
And it might not have the lobe to drive the fuel pump.
You might gain a few hp from doing the swap, assuming the gte cam aint worn to begin with. But i wouldnt go out my way to fit it, personally.

Not worth the effort.
Dont do it.Be quicker and easier to put a gte motor in there

It'd be quicker to put a pair of 40's on it. And it'd sound much better too!
