Not really no, the inlet is completely different.
Also the 1800 16v inlet is not THAT bad, it doesnt have the restrictions that the 14/16 16v did.

there are free flowing inlets available for small block 1.8 - ebay, regal - as mentioned though; tuning-wise the inlet isnt the first port of call for x18xe1..

well, you'll have to turn it sideways & then whack it in with a hammer.......but it should fit.....
