In the time of big brake conversions, I am trying to buck the trend by keeping the little Delcos on the front of mine.

So if anyone has got a pair of standard front calipers that they no longer want after doing such a conversion, please drop me a line. :thumb:

personally i'd go for the solid ate set up as found on later novas. Much much better than the crap delco set-up. You'll only be refurbing them 12 months down the line lol :)

Blimey! I wasn't expecting so many replies to this thread!!:thumb:

Can someone please tell me what models the ATE set up were fitted to? Or any more info generally - what discs are needed etc.? I have a 1991 1.2 with the Delco calipers presently, it slows down in its own time and eventually stops.:tard:

The plan is to overhaul everything, powder coat all the components then build a complete set up off the car, and do a complete swap in one go.

Which makes me ask whether anyone has a spare set of back plates kicking around too?

Just get the later Corsa brake setup, will cost bugger all from a breakers and is alot better than the earlier Nova type. (I have recently done this).
