Evening all, this is my first post but I help run the Opel Kadett C UK club - www.opel-kadett-c.co.uk (http://www.opel-kadett-c.co.uk) - hopefully you saw us at Billing, I know I had a wonder round your pitch so I'm not a scamming fraudster!! Ive joined up to sell the below car on behalf a woman I work with:

So this belongs to the husband of a woman I work with who has owned it since it was six months old! (over 20 years)

He has a massive file of history for it and isnt very mechnically minded so has always had it maintained and repaired by garages. 99k, full service history and the largest history file I have ever seen!

Doesnt start due to an undiagnosed engine problem but had new battery/ starter motor and head gasket (head skimmed) just befoere it went off the road so cant be anything serious.
Been in the garage for the last 12 months and the T&T ran out in April 2011

Body is straight and orginal but drivers wing needs replacing, both rear arches are starting to go and there is a bubble under the windscreen. Other panels all look fine. Does need some welding in the engine bay by the strut tops but its not a basket case by ay means, couple of weekends could have a ticket on this.

Said I would sell it for him as he wants it to go to an enthusiast , not sure what to ask for it though, any ideas?

I used to drive behind this most days going through handsworth when i was on my way to college about 1 and a half/2 years ago and it looked in very good nick then and think i put up a post to see if it was anyones on here:)

Hi mate, yes , he lives in South Anston and used to commute into Sheffield in it. It would be great if he could sell it to someone local who will look afer it.

For the Mods and on pricing hes not looking for silly money but he really doesnt know what its worth without MOT, £895 ono?
