oil pressure switch

which connection is for the oil light and which one is for the oil guage?

the switch has a plug type connector and a bolt on ring connector

its from a gsi i think

The plug type is the light and the ring connector is for the pressure mate.

all wired up now and working, what should i be expecting to see with the guage? its a digi dash so has the bars

whern i started it up it took about 5 seconds for the light to go out, then it went up 1 bar then 2

You should see 3quarters when cold but should drop to half once warm then when driving you shopuld see 3 quarters again iirc.

Mine used to read max when cold and when driving, and dropped to 1/3-1/4 when warm.

All sorted now starts at full pressure when cold and sits about 3 bars on warm idle and full pressure when the loud peddles down

Mine is the same reads full when cold and drops a bar when warmed up but haven't driven it yet lol
