I was fitting an under bonnet light today and found the propper plug that it uses, Female blade type with a grey/green wire, as in the illumination.

also taped up with it was this plug. female bullet type with a black/red wire coming out of it.

Any ideas what its for?

Oh the rest of the wires are from the heater motor.

this is all whats needed to make the light work.

Long wire of colour your choice with a female blade and a male blade on it, short earth wire one end a ring other a female blade and a computer screw with a tooth washer on it. oh and the lamp of course.

I asked this next bit before but never got an answer. how and where does this wire go?

So its no use then to me so its getting tie wrapped up.

so if i wanted a rev counter, all i have to do is plug a wire into that socket and take it through into the dash?
